Guardian Response Hard Case

AED • NARCAN® • Bleeding Control • Optional Advanced Trauma and First Aid

One case. Multiple emergencies. Immediate access to the equipment that can save a life.

When seconds matter, lifesaving equipment should not be scattered across cabinets, closets, vehicles, or multiple bags. It should be protected, organized, clearly identifiable, and ready to deploy.

The Guardian Response Hard Case combines essential equipment for three of the most time-sensitive emergencies responders may encounter:

  • Sudden cardiac arrest
  • Known or suspected opioid overdose
  • Life-threatening bleeding

Every configuration includes a Physio-Control/Stryker LIFEPAK CR2 AED, two doses of NARCAN® Nasal Spray, and two emergency bleeding-control kits, protected inside a rugged Condition 1 hard case with a custom foam insert.

Organizations can upgrade to the Advanced configuration for increased hemorrhage-control capability, and either the Standard or Advanced configuration can be expanded with a comprehensive First Aid Module.

Designed for schools, workplaces, churches, athletic facilities, industrial sites, field teams, security personnel, event venues, and community organizations, the Guardian Response Hard Case provides a single, organized emergency-response platform that is easy to identify, transport, inspect, and deploy.

Open the case, identify the emergency, and access the right equipment quickly.

Choose Your Configuration

Standard Response

The Standard Response configuration provides the core equipment needed to respond to cardiac arrest, suspected opioid overdose, and severe bleeding.

Standard Response Includes

  • 1 Condition 1 hard case
  • 1 custom foam insert with dedicated equipment placement
  • 1 Physio-Control/Stryker LIFEPAK CR2 AED
  • 2 doses of NARCAN® Nasal Spray
  • 2 emergency bleeding-control kits

This configuration is ideal for organizations seeking a comprehensive emergency-response system without unnecessary complexity.

Advanced Response

The Advanced Response configuration expands the case’s hemorrhage-control capabilities for environments where responders may encounter severe bleeding, multiple injuries, delayed EMS access, or incidents requiring additional equipment.

It includes everything found in the Standard Response configuration, plus:

  • 2 hemostatic gauze dressings
  • 2 additional tourniquets

Hemostatic gauze provides an additional option for controlling severe bleeding in wounds that may be difficult to manage with a tourniquet alone. The additional tourniquets also increase the case’s ability to support more than one bleeding site or more than one injured person.

Advanced Response Includes

  • 1 Condition 1 hard case
  • 1 custom foam insert with dedicated equipment placement
  • 1 Physio-Control/Stryker LIFEPAK CR2 AED
  • 2 doses of NARCAN® Nasal Spray
  • 2 emergency bleeding-control kits
  • 2 hemostatic gauze dressings
  • 2 additional tourniquets

The Advanced Response configuration is especially well suited for:

  • Construction and industrial operations
  • Security and protective teams
  • Houses of worship
  • Schools and campuses
  • Shooting ranges
  • Athletic facilities
  • Remote worksites
  • Public venues
  • Field operations
  • Organizations preparing for high-consequence emergencies

Optional First Aid Module

The First Aid Module can be added to either the Standard Response or Advanced Response configuration.

While the primary Guardian Response Hard Case is designed around immediately life-threatening emergencies, the First Aid Module expands the system’s usefulness to include common workplace, recreational, athletic, and community injuries.

It provides supplies for minor wounds, larger soft-tissue injuries, burns, sprains, suspected fractures, environmental exposure, and basic patient protection.

Available Variants

Standard Response

Core cardiac arrest, opioid overdose, and severe bleeding-response equipment.

Standard Response + First Aid

The complete Standard Response configuration with the added First Aid Module for routine injuries, burns, sprains, suspected fractures, and environmental exposure.

Advanced Response

The complete Standard Response configuration upgraded with two hemostatic gauze dressings and two additional tourniquets.

Advanced Response + First Aid

The most comprehensive Guardian Response Hard Case configuration. It combines cardiac arrest response, opioid overdose response, expanded hemorrhage control, and general first aid supplies in one organized emergency-readiness system.

Built Around the Emergencies Where Time Matters Most

Sudden Cardiac Arrest

The included LIFEPAK CR2 AED is designed to guide responders through a cardiac emergency using clear prompts, CPR coaching, and responder-focused technology.

Depending on the selected LIFEPAK CR2 configuration, available features may include:

  • Clear voice prompts
  • CPR coaching
  • cprINSIGHT™ analysis technology
  • Escalating energy up to 360 joules
  • Pediatric capability
  • Connected readiness and equipment-status monitoring

The AED is positioned for rapid identification and access so responders can begin care with as little delay as possible.

Known or Suspected Opioid Overdose

The case includes two doses of NARCAN® Nasal Spray, providing immediate access to naloxone during a known or suspected opioid overdose emergency.

Including two doses is important because an individual may not respond adequately to the first dose, especially when potent synthetic opioids are involved. Responders should always activate emergency medical services and follow the product instructions.

Life-Threatening Bleeding

The two included emergency bleeding-control kits provide equipment to begin controlling severe bleeding before professional responders arrive.

The Advanced configuration adds:

  • Additional tourniquet capacity
  • Hemostatic gauze for severe wounds that cannot be effectively treated with a tourniquet alone

This expanded capability is particularly valuable when an injury involves multiple bleeding sites, more than one patient, or a wound located in an area where tourniquet placement is not possible.

Everyday Injuries and First Aid

Adding the optional First Aid Module allows the Guardian Response Hard Case to support a much broader range of incidents, including:

  • Cuts and abrasions
  • Larger soft-tissue wounds
  • Minor burns
  • Sprains and strains
  • Suspected extremity fractures
  • Finger, knuckle, and fingertip injuries
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Heat or cold exposure
  • Basic patient protection while awaiting EMS

Key Features

  • Multiple emergency categories in one system: cardiac arrest, opioid overdose, severe bleeding, and optional first aid
  • Custom foam organization: dedicated equipment placement keeps critical items secure, visible, and easier to inventory
  • Rugged protection: the Condition 1 hard case helps protect equipment during storage, transport, and field deployment
  • Portable readiness: suitable for fixed locations, mobile teams, vehicles, events, and remote operations
  • Responder-focused access: open the case and quickly locate the equipment needed for the emergency
  • Scalable configurations: choose Standard, Advanced, or add First Aid based on your organization’s risks
  • Simplified inspections: organized compartments make it easier to identify missing, used, damaged, or expired supplies
  • Training-ready: pairs with Guardian Medical Education CPR/AED, bleeding-control, naloxone-response, and emergency-readiness training

Storage, Inspection, and Maintenance

Store and maintain all equipment according to the individual manufacturer’s instructions.

NARCAN® Nasal Spray should be stored between 36°F and 77°F, protected from light, not frozen, and kept away from excessive heat above 104°F.

AEDs, naloxone, hemostatic products, burn products, glucose, adhesive supplies, and other disposable medical items may have expiration dates or replacement intervals. Organizations should establish a regular inspection process to verify that:

  • The AED indicates it is ready for use
  • AED pads and batteries remain within their service dates
  • NARCAN® and medical supplies have not expired
  • Tamper seals and packaging remain intact
  • Used or missing items are replaced
  • Equipment remains clean, dry, accessible, and clearly marked

Always activate emergency medical services during a life-threatening emergency and follow the instructions provided with each medical device or product. Emergency equipment does not replace appropriate training, professional medical care, or an organization-specific emergency action plan.
