HeartCode BLS Online

American Heart Association blended-learning BLS for healthcare professionals.

HeartCode BLS lets you complete the cognitive portion online at your own pace, then complete the required hands-on skills component to finish the course pathway.

How It Works

1. Complete HeartCode BLS Online. Work through the AHA online coursework and assessment.
2. Complete the hands-on skills session. Practice and demonstrate BLS skills with an AHA instructor or approved skills-testing pathway.
3. Complete the course requirements. Eligible students receive the applicable AHA BLS Provider course completion credential after successfully completing the required components.
